Celebrate Freedom

Old Glory
Casper, WY
May 2016
As you celebrate today, look around and find the Stars and Stripes proudly flying in your community. The flags may be large or even small, but I guarantee, they will be visible.

It will be unfurled at sporting events throughout the nation.

Today, the flag will be everywhere, so look up, stand proud,
and celebrate the freedom that it represents not just today, but everyday.

  1. Love the way American's celebrate.... We just finished up our holiday weekend! We spent a quiet day at a creek.

  2. I love seeing our flag any time. We went to an outdoor concert Thursday evening and the local fire department had a 40 flag flying from the top of the ladder on the ladder truck. It was awesome! Happy July 4th.

  3. Great reminders of the solemnity of the Flag

  4. Happy 4th, Nancy!

  5. Another great post! Happy Fourth of July, Nancy.

  6. Flag ceremonies bring a tear to my eye! I read a book about the Heart Mountain Internment Camp & it really opened my eyes. Happy Independence Day to you & all!

  7. What an awesome post! I hope you had a wonderful 4th.

  8. Flags lined the downtown streets and the boy scouts distributed flags throughout the neighborhood. I fly a flag every day.

  9. Well said Nancy, I hope you had a wonderful 4th! :)
