Gallatin Scarf
Gallatin Scarf April 2016 |
Pattern:
Gallatin Scarf by Kris Basta (Ravelry link)
Gallatin Scarf by Kris Basta (non-Ravelry link)
Needles: US size 10.5
Yarn:
Universal Yarn (Echo Twist)
84% acrylic and 16% wool
Note: the pattern calls for worsted weight yarn. The Echo Twist was a very light worsted almost sport, so my scarf is not quite as large as the ones on the Ravelry site.
The top photo represents the true color of the yarn.
That's a pretty one!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect size when you need just a little something around your shoulders.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty....
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. The open patter really adds nice texture.
ReplyDeleteOh Pretty pretty Nancy. I love the way it is pinned through the knot
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Nancy and as for the lighter yarn it should be okay especially on warmer days:)
ReplyDeleteI love this and will be perfect for a skein that I can't find a pattern for...Yay!!
ReplyDeleteI love your scarf! Very pretty! Nancy
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! Thanks for the links.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I like the scarf pin.
ReplyDeleteAnother nice scarf pattern. I will hop over to Ravelry and pick this one up too. Sometimes a small shawl like this one would be perfect. Somewhere I must have a nice bunch of yarn that I could knit this up in! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice pattern. It's unique but not busy, like it!
