Recently, I joined three friends at the Crux in Lander for some tea and a light breakfast. While we chatted, the young man pictured above provided delightful music on three different stringed instruments. If you look closely, all three can be seen in the photo: large harp (to Julian's left),
small Celtic harp (shown horizontally above Julian's head), and the
lute Julian is playing.
How relaxing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a soothing, relaxing way to have breakfast with friends. That will be a good memory.
ReplyDeleteHe must be a very talented young man! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a talented young man. I love the way he is staring so seriously at his music.
ReplyDeleteThose aren't the common instruments you would expect to hear in a coffee shop. What a treat for you and your friends!
ReplyDeleteFull disclosure: I have to admit I didn't know what a lute was. I had to look it up and listen to a recording. It's a lovely instrument.
What a lovely way to breakfast, but seriously, not just 3 string instruments, but such unique ones at that.
ReplyDeleteI bet it was lovely to listen to. Add in a nice cup of tea and you have a perfect morning of relaxation.
ReplyDeleteHi! I love to hear music played like that or an ensemble! Makes the time so special. Glad you got to hear it! Nancy
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so lovely, I wish I could have been there. What an interesting choice of instruments.
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful!! I would love to have sat there and enjoyed it.
