Autumn Quilt

Sunflower closeup
Fabric dyed and quilt made by Barb David
the colors are prefect for the flowers
This Autumn quilt caught my eye at the quilt show in early February, and when I saw the quilter at the Quilt of Valor sew-in, I complimented her. Barb said it was created in a class taught by Phil
Beaver in Jackson, WY.

Part of the class was dyeing the fabric for the quilt. The colors were vibrant and perfect for the flowers, pumpkins, and leaves.

Barb David's wall hanging created at the Phil Beaver class at Quilting in the Tetons.

  1. This is gorgeous. And I love that she made the fabric as well. Beautiful color pallette. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  2. Wow! That is just fabulous work.

  3. I had no idea one would dye their own fabric too. I love her creation. I agree the dyes came out fantastic.

  4. A beautiful work of art. I can see why it caught your eye.

  5. Oh my gosh, that is SO beautiful! I love the pumpkin color! WOW!

  6. Wow, I can't even fathom that's a quilt...

  7. Beautiful! That quilt should be hanging in an art museum.

  8. It is stunning! I really like sunflowers! :)
