Tea Cakes Hat Kit
Jimmy Beans' Wool |
Nancy (
High Plains Footprints) gave me this colorful hat kit for Christmas, and it was a lot of fun to knit. Each of the twelve mini balls contained 15 yards of DK yarn, and there was very little remaining when the hat was finished. (Thank you, Nancy for this fun kit.)
Yarn: Tosh DK Tea Cakes (Berry Blackcurrant)
Needles: US size 4 (ribbed edge), US size 6 (hat body)
Pattern:
Modicum Hat by Rachel Roden (Ravelry link)
This pattern would be a great way to use scrap yarn.
I really love the colors. Thanks for sharing the pattern.
ReplyDeleteThis hat worked up soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteOh my...all those yarn changes would make me crazy...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of ends to hide.

ReplyDeleteA terrific hat! What a wonderful gift.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job, Nancy. Glad you had fun with it.
ReplyDeleteI love the finished hat but probably wouldn't tackle it with all those little yarn bits. It looks great.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful hat. I'm really upset now that I know about Madtosh Teacakes. I didn't need to know about that Nancy ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
