Walkabout

Walkabout
Quilt of Valor
56 x 77 inches
Walkabout was created using scraps from Autumn Splendor and the brown border I removed from Kismet.

In fact, I had just enough of the brown fabric for this quilt, as the photo above shows the remaining scraps are minimal which made me very happy.

  1. Way to recycle or maybe that is "up-cycle" in this case. Turned out the brown worked perfectly here. Very pretty.

  4. Beautiful! Walkabout has a 3-dimensional quality. You might think about putting a quilt counter on your blog page to share the count with us.

Any way, I'm catching up on your blog and I see you have been busy. I can't wait to get sewing again now that I'm home, tho I did get some knitting done while away.

  8. I like those colors a lot, and the name is fun too. Reminds me of my Kiwi cousins.
