two wool vests - child's small women's size 8 socks |
At the end of the year, I like to finish some projects that have been in the works for a while. Last week, I finished the second wool vest for a charity. Previous post with pattern and yarn information can be seen

I'm still trying to reduce my sock yarn stash, but not making much progress. This pair was knit with Wisdom Yarns (Los Angeles #241). Socks in the first photo were knit from a scarf blank - it was a gift, so I don't know the specifics.
They will put smiles on someone:)
ReplyDeleteI'm constantly amazed at how productive you are. As always, the projects turned out great!
ReplyDeleteI think sock yarn multiplies in the dark.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Nancy! You can use up sock yarn in a nice Trap scarf you know!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, I have many loose ends to tie up...but so be it! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely work!!!
ReplyDeleteThe sweaters are so cute and the socks are great, especially the blue socks! I'm hoping to get a lot of sock knitting done in the New Year.
ReplyDeleteThose are cute vests!! Nice to 'try' to start the year with loose ends done:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the free pattern link and notations. I look forward to making this for Julien when he is a little older. Thank you also for a year of encouragement and friendship, it has meant a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteThose little vests are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteLove the color on that last sock pair. Nothing better than a good stripey yarn!
Those purple vests are so cute! What great gifts for some fortunate children. You are a sock-knitting machine! I like the striped yarn too!
