The Sultan's Palace, owned by the Sultan of Johor, was closed to the public, but tours were conducted of the surrounding garden and grounds.

The lush and finely groomed palace grounds overlook the Johor Straits towards Singapore.

    Such amazing beauty!! It looks like she is sitting in front of a large painting because it is hard to believe a place like that could really exist!

    Oh my goodness, what a beautiful pool and garden. Wouldn't it be great to have that to look out on over morning coffee??

    That picture reminds me that I need to be more diligent in my meditation practice! I really feel the benefits when I practice, but I get sidetracked and away from it. Thank you for (unknowingly) encouraging me! Of course, knitting is a meditative practice too....hmmmmm......think I will go knit for a while!
