Scrap-knitting
I'm continuing to knit with scrap sock yarn. These short-cuffed socks are quick, easy, and a great way to bring the scraps under control. Clearly, these are fraternal twins, but they will make great house socks.
Update: October 24, 2013
My neighbor brought over some vegetable soup for me. I gave her the socks as a "thank you." I hope she enjoys them.
Those are so cute. Once I finish my other knitting projects I'm going to finish up that pair of socks that I have on the needles forever.
ReplyDeleteLove the red toes!
ReplyDeleteThose are very cute!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwww...they don't have to stay in the house! They want to go out and PARTY!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use up those scraps! Nice!
ReplyDeleteI stumbled on your blog when I saw from the sidebar of another, your hand knit socks. Sooooo cute! Lucky neighbor. Please won't you be my neighbor (too)? :)
ReplyDeleteLove those socks! I can't believe you got your scraps to match so well! I am new to sock knitting and not even trying to match the stripes on a pair. But I do see the joy of sock knitting now.
ReplyDeleteShort cuffed are my favorites and these are just great!
ReplyDeleteLove them! How nice of your neighbor to bring you soup. How sweet of you to gift her socks.
ReplyDeleteFun socks, Nancy! Love the bright colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she'll enjoy them. They're cheerful and I love that you're making scraps work so very well.
