In the Works

Autumn/ Winter fabrics
I managed to tidy my sewing room last week and started working on a special project. I am adapting the pattern to make the items reversible. These Autumn/Winter fabrics will be paired, as will those below.
Summer fabrics
The finished items will be posted soon (probably next week) as I won't have much time to sew this week.

  8. Oh good, you have a fabric stash fit to bust like mine. I'm so glad to see there are others out there who can "tidy" the stash and find oodles of just what they want for not one but several projects. I am determined to sew my way out of my mess!

  11. Throw pillows, maybe? Nancy, I ALWAYS enjoy your blog! Please forgive me for not commenting like I should.
I recently read a book & thought of you since it was about the Heart Mountain Internment Camp in Wyoming. I enjoyed the book, although it understandably had a sad undertone, & I learned a lot about WWII and Japanese camps.
The book is Silver like Dust: One Family's Story of America's Japanese Internment by Kimi Cunningham Grant.
I love all your crafts, esecially the baby Oddball blankets. Hope you have a good Christmas!

  13. hmmm, interesting fabric combos. Can't wait to see the secret projects. I was just wondering about the Wounder Warior quilts, it's sewing time and I haven't seen a new one lately. But I'm guessing these aren't for soldier quilts. g

  14. Beautiful fabrics, especially love the pumpkins with the dark background and of course, love snowmen (even though I moved out of Central NY to get away from snow).

  15. I'm voting for pillow cases. The fabrics you picked would make great cases.
