Sky Scarf April 8 - September 29 |
Recently, my
Sky Scarf made its first public appearance - Show and Tell at the Fiber Guild meeting. Until I saw this photo, I didn't realize it was getting so long. Talk about tunnel vision.
Does that happen as you work on a project?
Love the scarf and love that picture!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scarf.....and great pic of you. I never get a good candid shot....I always look angry or confused! lol
ReplyDeleteNo ... my blanket never seems to get any longer. LOL Maybe if I knit on it a bit more often.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a week of so of grey skies! ;-)
Most of the time it doesn't get long fast enough for me and I am always checking to see if it is long enough:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun photo! I too am one constantly checking to see if something is long enough. I am an impatient knitter.
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is really growing! And I like the way it looks; those yarns are definitely the ticket.
ReplyDeleteI constantly check the length of a scarf too...thinking it should be growing faster than it does.
The tunnel vision? Absolutely! Your scarf is coming along nicely. Lovely colors. g
ReplyDeleteYes it is getting longer!! Looking great!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of you! That scarf is so lovely! Perhaps because blues are my very favorites... could you tell that by the pile of scrap yarn I sent you? Many blues in there.
ReplyDeleteMy knitting does not seem to grow very fast. Perhaps it is because I live with the tape measure right next to me and am constantly checking it... I guess it is that "watched pot" principle.
Great picture Nancy! Your scarf is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how envious I am of you, having a local fiber club is so wonderful. You must have patience to knit a sky scarf, it is going to be super pretty when it's finished!
ReplyDeleteNANCY IT iS WONDERFUL to see you. I love seeing you on the blog!
ReplyDeleteI love your sky scarf..you are the only one I know other than Grace that keeps it up
I see lots of Wyoming blue in it
Great picture! You and your scarf are beautiful!! It looks like you will be able to wear it soon. I have projects that sneak up on me too. There have been a few times when I have gone past bind off and had to rip back a few rows.
ReplyDeleteThis scarf is so beautiful. I don't know how you knitters ever rip out rows of your hard work. And no, my work doesn't go fast enough, I've been working on the same afghan for years. Just slow I guess, or I won't stay seated long enough to get much done. I enjoy seeing your hard work, though.
