Peter Pan

Peter Pan
started June 2012
Peter Pan as started in Wyoming by Cheryl, a friend and knitting buddy, and has travelled to Texas, California x2, Minnesota (could it have possibly flown by magic? Clap your hands if you believe) and was returned to Wyoming for the last section.

I wanted to use the same stitch as the beginning section, but Cheryl couldn't remember the stitch. We consulted our stitch books and found the Furrowed Rib stitch, a perfect match. The stitch is reversible and adds texture to the blanket.

The blanket will have a border added by another person: the border should eliminate the uneven sides caused by the different knitting tensions and stitches.

  2. Love the two ends matching and although I wouldn't have thought Peter Pan would have colors it seems to fit perfectly.

  3. Very cute... how smart of you to find the 'stitch':) I wonder if people wrapping those babies every think of where those blankets come from or have been!!

  8. I love the furrowed rib look. Thank you Nancy for teaching me the stitch patterns. I enjoy getting to know them. The blanket will be great with a nice border..maybe I'll copy the border as I haven't found one for my baby blanket yet.
