Peter Pan
Peter Pan started June 2012 |
I wanted to use the same stitch as the beginning section, but Cheryl couldn't remember the stitch. We consulted our stitch books and found the Furrowed Rib stitch, a perfect match. The stitch is reversible and adds texture to the blanket.
The blanket will have a border added by another person: the border should eliminate the uneven sides caused by the different knitting tensions and stitches.

ReplyDeleteAnother favorite. Will there be a Wendy or Nana or Tinkerbell or... ??
Love the two ends matching and although I wouldn't have thought Peter Pan would have colors it seems to fit perfectly.
ReplyDeleteVery cute... how smart of you to find the 'stitch':) I wonder if people wrapping those babies every think of where those blankets come from or have been!!
ReplyDeleteFinding the stitch so that the end match is perfect. What a cute blanket!! Another one of my favorites.

LOVE IT NANCY!
ReplyDeleteI love the furrowed rib look. Thank you Nancy for teaching me the stitch patterns. I enjoy getting to know them. The blanket will be great with a nice border..maybe I'll copy the border as I haven't found one for my baby blanket yet.
ReplyDeleteThat's too cute, now what happens to it after it's all done?

I really like the section that is pooled blue and orange. It is fun seeing this get added onto over time.
