Foreign Friday

Sanbongi Nougyou Agricultural School
Towada, Japan
August 1979

School uniforms for boys were similar to business suits. Notice the hooks under the desks, which allow the book bags to be up off of the floor. The student in the foreground obviously wanted to be able to slip his shoes off and on quickly.

  1. Pretty much like a teenager anywhere. :)

  2. I like those hooks. I've suddenly gotten rather OCD about my purse being on the floor, even in the car.

  3. So not the average American classroom!!! I do like the hook idea!

God bless and have a delightful weekend sweetie!!! :o)
