Fruit of the Vine
We didn't make too much progress on the day we toured some Oregon vineyards. Of course, we had to sample some of the wines. I found four varieties that appealed to my taste buds and purchased four bottles.
The vineyards dotted the hillsides in the Umpqua Region south of Eugene. I almost felt like I was in France.
Pretty countryside.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has nothing to do with the Oregon vineyards, but have you seen The Walker Treasury blog? It is swatches of stitch samples from Barbara Walker's Knitting Treasury books. Just thought you'd like to know. Here's the link: http://thewalkertreasury.wordpress.com/
ReplyDeleteI've been neglecting my blog reading for the last week or so. Wow. Your trip looked like it was fabulous. (Wait, are you still traveling?) I had to comment about Coeur d'alene -- My grandparents lived in Spokane and I remember going over to Coeur d'Alene to swim and ski. Can't remember who would have had a ski boat but someone they knew.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are great -- almost like I'm there with you. Enjoy. Bonnie
