I Have a Notion

Yesterday, I searched my sewing cabinet for some ribbon and was surprised to find the evidence of inflation in one drawer. Notice the prices on the packages.

Bias Tape
Dark Brown - 50 cents
Tan - 95 cents
Copenhagen Blue - $1.20
Berry - $1.40

Seam Binding/Hem Tape
Natural - 50 cents
White $1.35

This collection for notions spans about 15 years.

    Love this post! I am always shocked when these things "pop up" for me! What I wouldn't give for those cheaper prices!? But I guess it's made the "hunt" all the more fun?!
