I like that quote! No, that garment must weigh a ton also!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing...Glad I didn't have to sew all them on too!
ReplyDeleteWow - and all sewn on with red thread that adds to the beauty. Thanks for sharing something so unique.
ReplyDeleteI dont like sewing even on button!!
ReplyDeleteThat is insane! I love buttons, but I'm not sure I love them that much!
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable! That is one huge amount of buttons. It took much more patience than I possess.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I love buttons but I once lost my mind when I had to sew 18 on an owl hat - that many would kill me, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteA crazy amount of buttons! I wouldn't have the patience to sew them on.
ReplyDeleteRemember those bugs in jars quilt blocks? One of my caravan friends loved collecting buttons so I made her a cushion. It had three jar blocks and I stitched buttons in them, just like her own button jars.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was --- oh my! That would be so heavy to wear. It is a very interesting art installation.
ReplyDeleteI love it. It gives me an idea for my button loving daughter but oh my that is lots of sewing on of buttons...and all mine are different:)
ReplyDeleteI doubt anyone would ever wear that -- definitely art. For a different look at buttons on cloths check our the The Pearlies in UK. http://thepearlies.co.uk
