Eclipse socks August 2017 |
I had two small balls of scraps from the House Socks (knit in July); one ball was dark, and the other light. I decided to put the two together to create a pair of "Eclipse Socks"

I was pleased the scraps were adequate to create this unique pair of socks. They will remind me of an amazing day in August when I experienced darkness in the middle of the day.
I love them! The colors really work well-great idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! And, they turned out so pretty.
ReplyDeleteVery clever! And pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo cute ..........you made MEMORY socks.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fun pair of socks. Are these socks soft on the feet? IE does the worsted wool itch? I tried a pair of "small cuff" socks and found I hadn't done enough cuff. These socks look great and you have a fun memory when you wear them.
ReplyDeleteToo cute...
ReplyDeleteLove the pair of socks. Love the reminder they will be of your amazing view of the ECLIPSE!! I love blue, you know that!
ReplyDeleteHow fun and what a great way to remember the eclipse. I love the color changes too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
What a great idea - your very own pair of unique eclipse socks.
ReplyDeleteI love them. Next = a pair of red/orange sunset socks???...for the glorious sunsets we've had lately due to the smoke.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness these are so pretty! I love your idea, I should make me a pair :)
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteFun! Those are a great reminder of a very cool day; we saw totality in McMinnville, OR, and were very glad to have made the trip.
