Kathy's Scrap Yarn

basket full of baby hats
April 2017
I'm nearing the end of the scrap sock yarn that Kathy E. sent in January. I originally estimated 18 - 19 hats could be knit with the scraps, and it looks like the final tally will be close to that estimate. Kathy, the babies and I thank you for the generous donation of scrap sock yarn.

  3. Wow! Thank you to you and Kathy! I know from experience that when you donate those hats, the nurses and the families will be very excited to get them. They look beautiful in the basket. It's a basket full of love. Thank you for your generous spirit.

  8. I do so admire you for doing this. A great way to use up scrap yarn in a way that is really going to be appreciated.
I would love to go back to knitting but I seem to get a pinching in the spine between the shoulder blades when I do so I can only admire you and others in what you do.
