Springtime in Vegas

Lobby with hundreds of green and gold, suspended Origami cranes

Not only was it wonderful to soak up some warmth and sunshine in Las Vegas, but it was also delightful to see the elaborate springtime displays in the hotel lobbies and corridors.

Aren't the Japanese parasols beautiful! The colorful parasols were on display in the Conservatory and in the corridors of the Bellagio Hotel.

The slot machines, the gambling tables, and the variety shows are NOT the only attractions in Las Vegas. I enjoyed viewing the displays as well as the casinos' exterior and interior architecture.

  1. Lovely spring displays! We were there the week after New Years and the holidays displays were still up in some places. You could spend a week exploring Vegas and never put a dollar into gambling.

  2. The origami cranes and the parasols are so beautiful hanging from the tall ceilings. The colors are bright and welcoming. I would be happily entertained checking out all the lobbies, etc. in the new buildings (since I was there last) in Vegas.

  7. Oh wow! Those cranes are beautiful. Looks like there is a lot to see in Vegas even if you aren't really into the gambling.

  9. Wow! That lobby is beautiful. Big space but the parasols make it appear less overwhelming.
