Snips and Snails

Snips and Snails
Western Region Oddball Baby Blanket
started January 2013
For some reason the Snips and Snails blanket got stalled and fell off of the group radar for several months. I was glad when it suddenly started circulating again. I knit the last section in garter stitch to match the first section.

This boy-friendly blanket was started at the same time as Sugar and Spice which was finished in May 2013.

Soon, I will begin another blanket for the group with the empty needles.

  1. Another great blanket. Do folks ever use 2 strands of yarn together or does that get too bulky?

  2. Nice choice of stitch selection. I think the garter stitch will help even out the shape of the blanket when the border is added.

  3. Maybe the next one will be Puppy Dog Tails?
