ReplyDeleteLovely.......and so fun to see a blanket on which I knitted a section, too! You do such nice work, Nancy!
ReplyDeletebtw, where do you find all the colors of Caron yarn? Our stores have a few but not the array you seem to have
Very pretty. These are good baby colors! I can see a happy baby wrapped up in this one!!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely "everything nice."
ReplyDeletePretty...so what colour did you start the next one with?
ReplyDeleteI love this one. I didn't make an afghan for our newest grandchild and now I'm sorry I didn't, tho it's not too late :)
ReplyDeleteWHo exactly are the wester region oddball knitters? HOw many are there? How long have you been together? ? HOw many blankets have you collectively knit?
ReplyDeleteWestern Region Oddball Knitters is a Ravelry group of approximately 25 individuals, but only 15 or so are active. Roughly, the group has been together for over 8 years. It was started on the Knitting Help Forum. The group has probably knit over 200 blankets in that time and sent them first to Denver's Children's Hospital and then more recently to Seattle Children's Hospital.
DeleteAnother lovely. And I would love to know the answer to Kathy B's question. What a good feeling to do something you enjoy for such a great cause. g
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. I bet these blankets are treasured.
