Beginning an Oddball
Since I was the last knitter on an Oddball blanket last week, it's time to chose a color and begin a new blanket. As you can tell, I am well stocked with Caron Simply Soft.
Any suggestions on color and/or name for this new Oddball?
Great photo but it just makes it harder to choose. I think you should shut your eyes, spin the basket and then reach in and see what comes out. We could call it blind faith.
ReplyDeleteI might start with a deep sky blue and call it "Summer Days".
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen a purple blanket lately, so I might go with that. I have no idea what I would name it though.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing prettier than a basket full of yarn. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy first thought on seeing all those colors was: RAINBOW!
You have a beautiful selection of Caron. Your selection is larger than any in town. Good luck!

ReplyDeletewhat a pretty way to show off your stash! How about using blues and calling it Little Boy Blue?
ReplyDeleteOne of the very bright colors---Fiesta, instantly came to mind
ReplyDeletePeaches and Cream? Sunny-side Up? You've got a great rainbow of colors!
ReplyDeleteLove all those blues! How about Blueberry Pie!

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful basket of yarn. I could dive right in!!
ReplyDeleteThe Sand box
ReplyDeleteuse sandy colors and bright bucket and shovel colors
or
Raggedy Ann or Raggedy Andy
Using those classic blue /red/white/ combo's
Oh look at all those colors! How are you going to pick one? I'll let you worry about the name, you are great at naming them.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, look at all those pretty colors. I wouldn't know what color or colors to pick.
ReplyDeleteRainbow was the first thing that came to mind..the second Sunflower. What a pretty basket of yarn!:)
ReplyDeleteThat red looks lonely to me, as if it's saying, "Choose me!"
ReplyDeleteThe red. Your pretty heavy on the blues so use that red and get more along with some orange. Oh and maybe a lime green!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so far behind, You have lots of blues so something with a water theme. Or the orange really jumped out at me and I would name it sherbert - so it could be all the really bright colors of sherbert. g
