Kicking off Wolverine football season
August 2013
Another display appeared in front of the local Safeway store. This one commemorates the start of the local high's football season and is made from Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, and Root Beer cartons.

The previous display can be seen in this post

Isn't this football fun? The laces are Diet Dr. Pepper cartons. Do the beverage companies in your area create similar outdoor displays?

  1. I love these displays! Haven't seen any in our area.

  2. I haven't seen any here either. I think the heat/humidity would ruin the drink inside.

I wonder what soda/beer they would have to use to get the black and gold of the UCF Knights. I guess you could use Coke Zero for the black. But, I can't think of a truly gold box.

  6. Cool and fun. Does anyone grab the box of their choice or does it stay up for a while?

  7. Haven't seen anything like this but probably we have too many high schools in our town and they can't play favorites? Very fun idea though.
