All of these quilts appeal to my eye, and I would like to make them one day. I purchased the Labyrinth pattern two years ago, but it has been shuffled to the bottom of the pattern pile.

More photos will be posted next week.

  1. I love that Scrappy Stars quilt! It's a great pattern and I love it so much that I made it twice! It's a Carrie Nelson pattern called 'Pick and Choose' and I may even make it again!

  2. Pretty quilts. I noticed one of the patterns was from Better Homes & Gardens.

I really miss when magazines had craft stuff in them. Remember Woman's Day had all kinds of crafts, especially towards Christmas. I guess they assume no one does that kind of stuff any more. I miss it a LOT!

  3. Old Hickory is Fantastic. I LOVE it. So fun to see your favorites picked!

I think Hickory is a great cat/dog name. I think THere was a Hickory on the wizard of Oz .one of the farm hands...?

  6. I sure like the scrappy stars and the labyrinth. Both are great looking patterns. I imagine the choice of colors could make them look quite different. Very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pics.

  8. It's amazing how different a single block looks than it does with the whole quilt! I love Olde Hickory. I always prefer the designs that are ever so slightly whacky or asymmetrical.
