Jamie's Needles

are intrigued with Jamie D.'s new knitting needles
Jamie recently commissioned a man to make these special knitting needles for her. She intends to knit wool roving into rugs with the giant, wooden needles, and I hope to get a photo of her knitting with them at the guild Spin-in early in January.

Jamie is also in my Tuesday night knitting group. She knits clever baby hats and fun projects that she designs.

    I think it might be difficult to knit with needles that large. I'd really love to see how she does it.

    I thought those needles were crutches until I really looked at them. I can't wait to see them in use.

    Oh I've seen people do that before! It looks really neat and I'm sure the rugs she makes will be very soft and squishy!

    What a great picture of the gals! Those needles are something else, and I'm anxious to see her actually knitting with them too! She will probably inspire some interesting projects.

    I've thought I'd seen big needles but that takes the cake. I have no idea how she'd work with them, it would be interesting to see a photo of her using them, can't wait!
