Long Overdue

While going through my yarn bins, an abandoned project caught my eye. Frankly, it’s caught my eye every time I’ve searched for a new project, but it hasn’t been worked on in years. Yesterday, it went in the frog pond!
long neglected, improvised scarf

You can tell by its rumpled appearance that it’s been stuffed in the bag far too long. It was an improvised pattern that didn’t spark my interest anymore. The yarn is pretty so it went back into the sock yarn bin.

  2. I've got a few things destined for the frog pond. Just got to find some time to go through and reorganize!

  3. Frogging it will free up that beautiful yarn for a NEW project that you like better. Good decision!

  5. Nothing like a good frogging. I hate doing it to current projects but I like doing to unloved ones. I have frogged finished sweaters before just because I felt like it.

  6. Beautiful yarn that will be well loved in another project. Doesn't it make you feel good when you finally make the decision to frog a project that's hung around far too long?

  7. Sometimes we just need to cut a project loose. At least you can save the pretty yarn.

  8. Nice decision! It will be fun to see the socks you make with this yarn, too.
