Hmmm, not sure I agree with that sentiment. Succeeding at anything is a good thing and it may matter to the person who succeeds if not to anyone else. But, I like the drawing with it.
Well, that one sure makes you think doesn't it? I hope you're staying warm today. We had quite a thunderstorm during the night and it has freshened everything up. Blue, blue skies this morning and cooler, in the 60's. Blessings, Betsy
I think it is a very good thought to ponder. It has been my argument about sports being elevated to super-heroes when it really doesn't matter--yet look at the money it makes and spends.... Thanks for posting!
I wasn't sure what to make of it at first but you got some great comments on this post that I agree with. We waste too much energy on things that don't really matter. I know I sure do.
Interesting comments. I imagine many of us do succeed at things that would be considered unimportant. But who is judging what's important. Is it important for me to feed the birds all year round? Most likely they can find plentiful food in the spring, summer and fall. Winter might be a bit harder. But hubby and I get a lot of joy of watching the birds at our feeder and around our yard. It may not be the most important thing we do but it does bring us some joy. (probably along with a couple of our neighbors.) I am amazed at how many murals you have found through the years. Keep sharing them.

This is a good thought. I think it is more important than ever, since COVID, to examine our goa1s and the p1aces we put out time. THanks!
