Stronger Together
Stronger Together 59 x 66 inches Quilt of Valor #187 |
I had originally planned to make the center of this quilt smaller and surround it with borders, but as I made more and then more blocks, I decided that the blocks looks better without a plain border.
It is my hope that Americans will realize that division is not healthy for our country and that even with differences, we are all stronger together.
Like it and love your explanation for the name.
ReplyDeleteAmen to your quilt, and double amen to your sentiment!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. I read an article this weekend comparing our Covid response to 9/11 response. He suggested if our leadership had immediately urged people to be proud Americans and wear red, white and blue masks to show their patriotism - we would be in a much different place today.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how the quilt turned out.
ReplyDeleteThat certainly turned out nicely Nancy. Love your explanation and sentiment.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt turned out beautifully. Your explanation and sentiment is spot on. I think of what our founding fathers would be thinking right now and I'm horrified at what we've done to this country after the sacrifices they all made for us.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Aw Nancy, i think under the right leadership we can be stronger together instead of polarized. I love your quilt
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you. The divisions make me very sad. But I don't know what to do about people who think Covid is a hoax. I can't compromise on that!
ReplyDeleteHear, hear! Great job on the quilt! It looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love that pattern!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteNice job. But most important is I agree with you whole heartedly. We lack leadership in our Federal government. We have too many elected officials who won’t work for the people — only for their re-election or their own benefit or both. I could go on but I’ll stop here. Stay safe.
