  4. I've heard the reason for the upturned ends on the roof, but I've forgotten. Was it about luck? I love all the detail on those. Do the modern buildings have so much detail also, or is it like housing here?

  5. I wonder if current buildings have the same details... probably not the big sky scrapers but perhaps the houses in the country.
