six blankets and eight burp cloths |
Over the holiday weekend, another batch of flannel, receiving blankets and burp cloths was made for a local charity. This will likely be the last set of blankets I'll be making for a while, as it's time to get back to working with my quilting cotton scraps and make some Quilts of Valor.
Earlier blankets can be seen

The blankets are well needed I am sure. You do such good work.
ReplyDeleteThat little "chick" fabric is adorable. The blankets look so soft.
ReplyDeleteYou were busy!! I know they will be appreciated!!
ReplyDeleteCute fabric! I love flannel receiving blankets and you can never have enough burp cloths.
ReplyDeleteYou are the energizer sewist! Those will be so appreciated this time of year. Do you line your burp cloths?
ReplyDeleteThese will be greatly appreciated by some new moms. Good flannel is so expensive - just like good cotton. So I watch for it to be on sale because I do like to make the receiving blankets as baby gifts. My granddaughter Olivia has now recycled her baby flannel blankies to wrap up her dollies.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky charity! I'm sure the donations are appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThey will be well recieved...pun intended
ReplyDeleteNice of you to make some receiving blankets. I'm sure they will be put to good use. But, back to quilting!
