Favorite Mug
a favorite mug from the Oz Museum |
Can you read the inscription? It says, "Don't make me break out my flying monkeys!"
The cute mug mat was a gift from Mary H., fiber guild president and coordinator of the Lander Sew Sistas.
Do you have a favorite mug or cup for drinking your morning tea or coffee? How do you hold your cup when drinking your morning brew?
Oh yes, that's a good mug for a teacher. I don't have one particular favorite mug, but I do have a pretty good collection of handmade pottery mugs.
ReplyDeleteI do and like you it makes me smile. Isn't it nice to find pleasure is such little things:)
ReplyDeleteI love certain mugs...they just feel right!!... I had one my son had bought me.... It was a sad sad day the day it broke:( Favorite mugs are hard to replace!!
ReplyDeleteLove your mug! Mugs are a thing with me and I have so many favorites so I do a mug a month. In fact I have not made the post today but it is the 1st so today is the "Changing of the Mug". Stop by and check it out later.
ReplyDeleteI got a mug from the "apple pie place" in Julian, CA, just last summer; it's fun to have a reminder of a favorite place! Did you get to see the yellow brick road?
ReplyDeleteI rarely drink coffee, but I love my water in the morning:)
ReplyDeleteI do have a couple of favorite coffee mugs - especially a Maxine cup that says "I'm a morning person, after 11:00 am". But the flying monkeys cup is even better! Today I'm drinking out of my SDSU Jackrabbit alumni cup. Go Jacks!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were a teacher too. No wonder we have so much in common. I love your mug. I'll have to go get mine and find a clean place so I can take a picture. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a mug with the Dewey Decimal Number for tea on it. I like making people wonder what those numbers are ... ;-)
ReplyDeleteAw I love that mug's saying. My favorite mug would have no handle as I always CUP the cup. I ll have to find one
ReplyDeleteThat is a FINE mug. LOL. The saying on it is priceless. At the moment I really don't have a favorite mug. My favorite got broken. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favourite mug but I have a favourite type. They must be bone china and not too big. I don't care for a two cup capacity mug. Funny, yes?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite mugs are usually quilting related. But I would really enjoy a red mug that threatens monkeys!
