Bright Socks

Bright socks
women's size 8-9
My sock knitting has all but stalled this summer - too many other projects and activities in the works. This pair of socks was started in May after I finished the first pair from the large skein of yarn. I alternated a solid yarn with the first pair, and decided to just let the yarn do what it wanted to this time. I was surprised that the yarn pooled in much the same way, so these are nearly identical twin socks. Yarn and knitting notes were given on the Seacell Socks post.

Marilyn said she liked these socks when I was knitting on them in Nebraska, so if they fit, she can have them.

  3. It's almost magical to me that the pooling turns out so close to identical. Very pretty!

  4. Yes, they are bright!! It's always interesting to see what happens with the stripping or pooling of the yarn.

  5. Marilyn is going to have happy feet! I am also off my sock knitting schedule. I knitted two pair early in the year and then went on to baby blankets and sweaters. I hear sock yarn calling out to me.

  6. I love how you let the yarn behave on its own!
