Mt. Fuji
taken from the Bullet Train
April 1980
Even though I was in Japan two years, I only saw Mt. Fuji this one time, through the window of a speeding train.

  7. Did you know that we have a Mountain in NZ called Egmont (or Taranaki) ? It is such a good double that it has been used in several movies. The Tom Cruise movie the last Samurai was filmed there.

  9. Mount St. Helens used to look kind of like that until she blew her top off in 1980!

  10. Beautiful! When my Nephew Jake was first there he hiked to the top alone...I was scared for him. He is still there teaching English and has a girlfriend there too named Saki, He will be home this summer. I always make him cards to take back with him to give away.
