Back in Time - Steam Tractor

Bruce and Becky M.
Fremont County Fairgrounds
approx. 1969 or 1970
While it was fun to see the steam tractor on display, I think it would be exciting to see it working in a field, powering a threshing machine. The 1912 Case tractor was built a year before my mother was born, and fifty-one years before Bruce was born.

  1. I love those old tractors...my mom was born in 1921, and dad in 1919.

  2. Great picture!! I love watching American Pickers because they always find wonderful old tractors, cars, and equipment of all kinds. Somehow those old tractors looked like they could handle the jobs they were built to accomplish.

  5. Can you imagine how loud it was???? No wonder so many of our grandparents were hard of hearing by age 60. LOL

  7. What a great photo! And like some of your other readers, I'd only want to see it in action from a nice distance.
