Happy Choice Socks
Several years ago, I purchased three yarn flats on clearance. This pair is being knit with the last flat. Other socks made from the flats can be seen here and here.
Yarn: Happy Choices by Plymouth Yarn (discontinued yarn flat)
Needles: addi turbo, size 3
That is a great color combination. The one flat that I bought, the colors were . . . well, FLAT! The socks held up well, but they are pretty boring socks.
ReplyDeleteYours look great! I like how the foot is drastically different from the leg. They look like rugged MANLY socks. ;-)
I love the crinkled effect of the yarn, and the colors are wonderful. You do have a way with socks Nancy!!
ReplyDeleteI have never bought the flat yarns.. how fun to see YOURS develop
ReplyDeleteI think they are fantastic, Nancy!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty yarn. You are sure a fast sock knitter.
ReplyDeleteI love the color changes in the yarn! Are you knitting on two circular needles? Is it the loop of magic?
ReplyDeleteOh I like them. I really need to get to making some socks.
ReplyDeleteWell, now I know what a yarn flat is....I have never heard of one, let alone seen one. I LOVE my Sox!
ReplyDeleteIf I didn't know, I would have thought it was two completely different skeins of yarn for the cuff and the foot.
ReplyDeleteI have two flats as well and have never done anything with them.
