Gift Knitting
About a week ago, a friend called to ask a favor - to knit two baby hats. Since I was between projects, I accepted. She wanted newborn hats - one pink, one white.
Pattern: Newborn Hat
I like the simple colorwork, which adds some interest to a basic hat.
Yarn: With Love - Red Heart (White)
Caron Simply Soft (Soft Pink)
Needles: two circular, size 5 addi turbo
You can't go wrong with classic styling like this. Love them!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty...am sure she will be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing sweeter than a pink striped baby cap! They are adorable!

So pretty - that soft pink just says "baby girl" doesn't it? What a lovely gift to receive as a new mom.

ReplyDeleteHow sweet are those hats? I'm partial to the one with MC white and CC pink. I can smell baby! -- that was not meant to be creepy.
ReplyDeleteThose are just precious little hats. You are right....the contrast yarn is just the right touch.
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! I love the stripes and the ribbed band.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely darling!!

ReplyDeleteVery nice, Nancy! I know they will be much appreciated, too. How many stitches do you usually figure for a baby hat?
