Foreign Friday
Cheers! Rae White Sapporo, Japan February 1981 |
Rae was a Language Arts teacher at Robert D. Edgren High School the last year that I was in Misawa. She joined the group that went to Sapporo in February 1981 to attend the Sapporo Snow Festival.
While in Sapporo, we enjoyed Sapporo beer in a local pub. Another post of that evening adventure can be seen here.
Snow Festival photos can be seen here if you missed them earlier.
She has quite the handful! LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good time!
ReplyDeleteCan you describe the beer? Hoppy???
ReplyDeleteYummy!
ReplyDeleteOh Sapporo! Tasty indeed! I'm more of a wine girl, since it makes me feel less bloaty (TMI? Sorry) but that is still a favorite of mine with a nice steaming hot bowl of ramen or some yakisoba or japanese tapas. Hmm, dinner ideas ... love the foreign fridays!
ReplyDeleteAfter the week I've had I could use one of those Sapporo brews! Your friend's pretty face brightened my Friday.
ReplyDeleteYum! I had to go and check your snow festival post, the sculpture looks like so much fun. I would love to go down the snow slides.
