Fall Swap

Swap items that I kept
Kathyb hosted a Fall Swap, and she mailed a package of goodies to me. I could take anything out of the package as long as I replaced it with something of equal value.

I kept the items shown above, filled the envelope with two skeins of sock yarn, a pattern, some recipe cards, etc. and sent it on to Ellen in California.

This is the project I have in mind for the Noro, or it may become this project (similar, but a different rib) if I don't like to do the 1 x 1 rib for an eternity.

I purchased two additional skeins (shown on the top in this photo) on Friday and will start the scarf after I finish a couple of other projects in the works.

Thanks, Kathyb for another fun swap. I participated in Summer Swap 2011 and in Take and Replace 2011.

  1. I love Noro! I've always liked the look of the Noro striped scarf, but have had my doubts I'd enjoy that much 1x1 ribbing.

  3. I checked out the pattern, and it looks like a very good one for this Noro yarn. I'm looking forward to seeing it go on the needles!

  7. I like that first scarf pattern you picked out. It's been on my "someday" list for a long time. I really like the color changes in that yarn.

  8. I evidently need to spend some time at Ravelry one of these days...the scarves look fabulous. I guess I get so involved with my quilting I don't get all that much knitting done. I look forward to seeing the scarf you make with that yarn.
