My ideal summer knit project is socks - small and portable.

Red Heart (Heart and Sole - Watercolor Stripe) scraps from these socks
Red Heart (Heart and Sole - Ivory)

  8. Very nice.... all year my portable craft is the cross stitch Christmas for the GK's...right now when I am at home I have that quilt on my lap...trying to get it finished...but it is not portable.... Love the socks:)

  9. Wow I love those socks! I have never used Red Heart Heart and Sole. I must try it! I started my ribbed, long top socks and the first one is going really fast. Yippee!!

  11. I love knitting socks, perfectly portable, generally you can make do without a pattern and everyone loves handknit socks. I've knit with heart and sole and it's incredibly nice yarn - love the stripes. g
