Buttermilk

Buttermilk
Western Region Oddball Baby Blanket
started May 2013
It has been ages since I worked on an Oddball Baby Blanket, but this one was well worth the wait. My section was knit using Box Stitch.

Buttermilk will be an all-white blanket, and I love how the different stitches can be clearly seen. I hope the group does another all-white blanket soon.

  1. That will be perfect for someone with a new baby! White sure makes the pattern MUCH easier to see. :-)

  4. Oh I love it! I need to get a move on and finish a certain off-white baby blanket, as baby Hayes arrived on Saturday!

  5. I agree that having a solid color really emphasizes the different stitches. It looks great so far!

  8. This one is truly wonderful! I have a "thing" about white sheets, blankets and comforters. More often than not I will buy all white instead of the gorgeous colors available these days.

  9. that is a really pretty blanket! Interesting how well the pattern shows on it. I just looked at the size 20 crochet thread like you used on your doily. How tiny! You are one amazing knitter!
