Heels & Toes
I had fun knitting these worsted weight socks: they were quick knits on large needles and will make great house socks.
The fun didn't stop when they were off the needles. I couldn't resist having a photo shoot with them, too.
Knitting details are on this previous post, entitled February Socks.
Nancy - they look so happy and warm. I just love the juxtaposition of colors and toes and heels. They look like hugs for your feet!
ReplyDeleteNancy, I love, love these socks!! I so want to learn to knit, just to make socks and mittens!! Maybe someday!!

Love all the toes together! Looks like they are having a little sock party!
ReplyDeleteThey look like they will be quite warm and snuggly!
What pretty colors....
ReplyDeleteHead and Shoulders, Heels and Toes! I would have played with the socks for pictures too. Those are both great pairs of socks and I love those colors together - either way. g
ReplyDeleteohh and ahhhh I LOVE THEM. Pink is so fun to wear with blue jeans...
ReplyDeleteOh pretty, pretty, pretty....
ReplyDeleteSo cute...you need to start selling these.

Fun shots of the socks, Nancy. They are very photogenic! LOL! I think they will be great house socks...or maybe good in a big boot? The pinks are so pretty, and I agree with Kathy; they would look great with blue jeans.
ReplyDeleteFinally catching up after being gone...love these socks. They look so warm, and I LOVE the colors! What size needles/yarn did you use?
ReplyDeleteI love those. I might need to wear PANK and grey tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! I don't knit and am always in awe of people who can do it with such precision. I'm afraid if I tried it, I'd have just one long, distorted bag.
ReplyDeleteGreat socks! How fun. What yarn did you use?
ReplyDeleteWhat terrific socks and I also got a kick out of your photo set up!
ReplyDeletewonderful photo shoot. I resisted buying new sock yarn yesterday when I attended a quilt show although I did feel several beautiful yarns. I did get a pattern for some yarn I've had for many years. Now to figure out if the weight of the yarn is what I think it is!
