Yes ... three of my elementary school friends and I still keep in touch. Mike (and his wife Beth) have come down to visit a couple of times and we always make time for them when we get back to Philadelphia. I met Mike when I was in kindergarten.
The one who comes to mind first is my sweet husband who has been my best friend since we were children. I still talk to my Maid of Honor at our wedding a couple times a year. We were also childhood friends. In the picture I noticed that one of the girls has dark hair and one is blond just like my friend and I. Your picture brought back memories!!
What a great photo! Yes... I'm most delighted that the two girls born the same spring/summer I was, are still my friends. We literally shared a crib in the church nursery, so I call them my "cribhood best friends", not to be confused with the other friends from elementary school I still have, including my husband...
My husband has 2 friends from childhood that he is VERY close to. I have left my childhood girlfriend behind these days....we were too competitive as friends....

Cute!! I have friends from in my 20's...but I think that is about as far back as it goes...
