Wintertime Distractions

puzzle progress
December 2021

This is the second puzzle I’ve worked on since mid-afternoon on Christmas Eve day. It’s been snowing on and off since then — perfect puzzle weather. Marilyn gave me this puzzle (and several others) this summer.
puzzle completed in two days

This one is a collage of vintage ice cream treats, many of which I’ve never seen or even tried, but a few favorites, too.
I’ve never heard of these ice cream cake rolls

Creamsicles are by far my favorite ice cream treats. What’s your favorite?

  1. Fun! I was just thinking we need to get out a puzzle to work on...and then I remembered Mabel. We might need to wait to do a puzzle. No favorite ice cream treat - I love them ALL!!!!

  2. WOW we use to do puzzles... they would take us years to complete🤦🏼‍♀️ We would put them away and bring them out at Christmas. As far as my favourite I like any ice cream with chocolate Carmel and nuts but not to much chocolate 😁

  3. Puzzles are one of my favorite winter activities too. I have one that will be started today now that the company has all gone home. I got 2 new ones for Christmas, and had bought a couple last fall when a local store was closing.

  6. Dennis likes ice cream sandwiches. I like pretty much anything with chocolate. Puzzles aren't my favorite though. I would much rather knit.

  7. That's a great puzzle! I just ordered another one that's a winter scene that should be here tomorrow. I love everything ice cream especially spumoni but since I had my gall bladder removed ice cream sure doesn't like me which makes me very sad whenever I pass the ice cream shop on the boardwalk.

  8. We are doing puzzles too! I like any kind of ice cream as long as it has chocolate or plain old maple nut:)
