Sockhead Cowl - OTN

The Sockhead Cowl, knit from a dyed sock blank, is off the needles, washed, and lightly blocked. I'm pleased with this cowl: the yarn is soft and has a bit of drape, and the colors are subtle and colorfast.

I think the recipient will enjoy wearing this snuggly cowl.

  3. Oh Nancy, that turned out so pretty. It looks delicate but I'm sure it's not. I love my sockhead cowl. I've only worn it once so I may wash it and donate it for the Mission. It's supposed to be cold and I don't want anyone to suffer when I have extra warm items here.

  6. That turned out so well Nancy! Love the colors. How is it knitting with a sock blank? I'm not sure if the kinkiness (for lack of a better word) would bother me or not...

  10. It’s nice to see the finished blank and compare it to the cowl. You did a great job dying it.
