Helpful Distractions

ribbed, sock cuffs
June 2019
Since the weather has been chilly and rainy, I selected some yarn from my stash and began three pairs of socks and have a completed cuff for each. The repetitious knitting helped me focus on something beside the nasty weather.

During my knitting spree, I also finished the socks used as a teaching tool.

  6. It was cool and rainy the whole 3 days I was in Iowa on the bus trip. Now we have had a couple of glorious sunny summer days - which will turn into HOT and HUMID miserable weekend I guess. But I'm sure enjoying the nice days.

  8. It's still cool and rainy here today. In fact, I'm covered with a blanket as I type this! Love all of your socks. I finished a pair last night just before midnight. One more pair to go for a Christmas gift and then I can make whatever I want! What should I do?
    Blessings,

  13. Really, three at once — and all of them with cuffs done? You go girl. I’ll just do a little thumb twiddling instead of making progress — or that’s what it seems to me.
