Adding the Trim

knitting an i-cord on Stephanie's slippers
January 2019
Stephanie's slippers are nearly finished: I just need to knit the attached i-cord around the edge. It's a slow process, but the result is wonderful. The i-cord gives the slippers a polished look.

If the teal yarn looks familiar, it's because it's the yarn I used to repair my nephew's sweater/jacket last month.

It feels good to be knitting again.

  1. I've never seen that type of edging before and it does give the slippers a very professional look.

  2. We could all use a nice warm pair of slippers right about now. I think I'll go dig mine out since I am not going anywhere in these temps. Ugh. It's in the teens here and that's not anything we are used to around these parts.

  9. Someday I’ll look up the i cord technique. Who knows. I may need it someday. The slippers are going to look great.

  10. So close on the slippers-the accent color for the Icord is a great idea!
