Presentation Cases

thirteen pillowcases
April 2017
These thirteen cases were made from backing remnants and coordinating fabrics. They will be paired with a Quilt of Valor for a presentation and storage case.

Some brighter fabric was used for pillowcases for the local hospice home.

The cases account for nearly 18 yards of fabric out of the stash.

  1. These are beautiful! I particularly love the ones for your Quilts of Valor. That's a lot of fabric out of stash!!!

  5. The presentation cases are such a nice addition to the quilts. I've had a stack of fabrics set aside for making some for a while now. You've certainly made some nice ones and that's a good way to decrease those fabric piles...at least a little. :)

  11. Di 18 yards even make a dent in the stash? :) Nice work Nancy!

  12. Great way to STASH BUST! They are beautiful.

Steve and I just signed up today to volunteer at our local hospice center. In the beginning we will both work on the administrative side. I'll be doing office work and Steve will be working in the supplies unit getting things organized and inventoried.

We went and got our finger prints done today for a background check and if all goes well, we should be able to do orientation next week and start working the week after.

  13. There's nothing like a pillowcase for easy stash UNenhancement! I need to go through my stash one of these days to see what I can use to make a pillowcase or two. Nice job.
