Fabric Donation
yardage and scrap fabric donation May 2017 |
I learned of your charity work through Jo's Country Junction. I have two UFO's from a local quilter who has passed away and some fabric that would be appropriate for your quilts. I've been looking for the right opportunity to get these to someone who would use them for service members.
When I opened the package, I was delighted by the variety of fabric and the possibilities they presented.

Thank you, LuAnn for thinking of Quilts of Valor for your donation. The quilts and presentation cases made with your donation fabric will be sent to the Idaho and/or Montana Quilt of Valor coordinators for distribution.
How nice! And a great selection of fabrics.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for both of you to be able to put the yardage to good use!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful donation. Charity and love reside. ( do you know that song? Where charity and love reside, there God is ever found?)
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why Troy's name is coming up in the commments, its ME kathy b
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! What a wonderful donation. Love that star quilt top in the bottom photo. The quilter who originally owned this treasure would be so thrilled that someone is going to finish her quilt and make use of her stash for a good cause. Wow!
ReplyDeleteThat was an absolutely wonderful donation. I'm sure that the original purchaser would love to know that they're being used for the quilts of valor and the presentation cases. Thank you for all that you do for our servicemen.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Betsy
Wozer! That is awesome. How exciting to plan new quilts now.
ReplyDeleteHow delightful. So nice that someone recognises the work you do and was able to send fabrics so appropriate for the cause.
ReplyDeleteHow great Nancy! I know you'll make several great quilts out of this bounty.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that the donations are coming, as I saw your name on her website!
