Making Progress

I'm making progress on the scrap sock yarn hats. Two sets of needles accompanied me to Vegas last week, but most of these were knit before I left on the trip. Not much knitting was done in Vegas, but I did knit a bit on the flight home and at the Fiber Guild meeting on Saturday.

Compare the finished hats to the scrap yarn balls from this earlier post.

  1. scrap yarn turned into beautiful hats - a transformation. I really like the color combo of the black and brown one in the upper left - very elegant looking.

  5. Do you have a specific pattern you use for the sock yarn caps? I ask because our granddaughter asked for "lots" of caps for the new baby coming in July. I knit one last night before bed and was not happy with it.

  10. I should - could - be doing this. Maybe it's the baby knitting that would inspire me. The hats I don't give to my plethora of pregnant friends could go to the hospital.
