Marilyn's finished quilt top |
The quilt photo was sent by my sister in text a couple of weeks ago, and I asked if she would share the pattern. I thought it would make a fabulous Quilt of Valor and use a lot of scraps.
A package from Marilyn arrived last week, but it included more than the pattern. . . Can you believe that she sent extra blocks and fabric.

ReplyDeleteYour sister is VERY cool!
ReplyDeleteOh yes ....I could see many color variations on that pattern. I think that makes a very cheerful quilt.
Looks amazing!!
ReplyDeleteSay, that's going to save you some time! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love those blocks and that is just ideal for a scrappy quilt. You're right about it making a beautiful QOV too. The white squares just pop! How large are the finished blocks?

ReplyDeleteThat is one great quilt. I do a block of theonthly for my guild and I may design one similarly for Nov or December. Thanks for sharing it. So did you use tons of your own scraps or mostly your thoughtful sister's scraps?
ReplyDeleteFun! I really like how the white pops on that quilt. You should have fun doing it along with a good start, thanks to your sis.
ReplyDeleteLucky you...and I love that quilt... it looks like it is interlocked!!
